Thecho village is located about 6 km south of the main Lalitpur town in Lalitpur District, Godawari Municipality. Ward No 12. According to 2011 Nepal census, Thecho has a population of 10086. The total area of the VDC is 3.2 km2.

Note,
Currently, as per record of social beneficiary above 70 years old 158 males, and 208 females for a grand total of 366 Senior Citizens live in the Thecho village except retired senior citizens of Nepal Government.
